About Us
Capacity and Training Institute (CTI)
is faith based, incorporated as a capacity training Institute in 2016, certificate No. PVT/2016/026189 under the companies Act of 2015. In 2020, CTI was licensed and accredited as Technical and Vocational College by Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), license TVETA/PRIVATE/TVC/002/2020.A1, to build capacity to trainees in the technical and vocational skills. Currently CTI TVETA accredited courses are; Christian Ministry, Restaurant Management, Restaurant Services and Events Planning and Management
In 2023 CTI recieved a grant from the Germany government through GFA/GIZ to capacity build youths aged between 18 and 29 in job specific skills in the agri-food sector particularly poultry production, Beekeeping and Horticulture. This exposed us to more partners in Germany. We have the curriculum and technology through which faith based organisations can use to provide the same training under our mentorship to their youths to address youth challenges. This year we are privileged to again partner with a Germany company for skills transfer to enable young kenyans live and work in Germany.
CTI is designed to provide a well-conceived apprentice training grounded in second opportunity skills training, to provide a flexible training opportunity for the individuals to reach the highest standards of self-actualization and to produce graduates who will have the capacity to employ themselves in small scale enterprise, and who also have the skills to work in advanced level industry.
Our Vision
The vision of CTI is to avail a second opportunity of training and skills development to people who have the passion to develop higher capacity for independent autonomous enterprise.
Our Mission
Our mission is to mobilize the youth to venture in vocational training and engage them on a sandwich field apprenticeship with flexible scheduling to support the different paces of learning and satisfy the needs and interests of all trainers.

- To carry out industrial education and training.

- To provide Technical and Support Service to communities.
